Pricing is available to studio owners and coaches inside our online registration system. Just log into DanceBug and you'll have access. Once you login, the menu bar will have a Price List option next to the Login and Get Help menu options.

ENTRIES
Entries are accepted on a first come, first serve basis until the allotted competition time is filled.
Entries must be paid by credit card or ACH only.
Registration will not be considered complete without full payment.
In the event a child is unable to perform due to documented injury or illness, Shine may issue a refund or a credit to be used for future entry fees or Shine merchandise at the discretion of the Shine director.
Routines are expected to perform as scheduled.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRPAHY
Our very own Shine staff will be taking photos and video during the competition; all participants consent to the use of photos and video by Shine for the purpose of marketing, advertising and social media.
DanceBug will be taking professional videos available for participants to purchase following the event.
Flash photography and videography is not allowed during competition routines.
JUDGING
Shine will provide two judges that will give verbal critiques and scores. Our judges panel will consist of professional judges with quality dance experience.
All judges scoring decisions are final.
Each studio director will receive all routine video critiques and score sheets within 7 days of the completion of the competition.
MUSIC
All music must be uploaded on DanceBug at least 7 days prior to the event.
You should bring a backup of your music to the event.

AWARDS
Adjudicated Awards:
Every competition entry receives an adjudication award of gold, platinum or high platinum based on the total points scored. We will also award the top 3 placements in each category, based on total points scored out of 200.
100.00-150.60: Gold
150.61-175.60: Platinum
175.61-200: High Platinum

Aside from our adjudicated awards, we will also present the following Judge's Choice Awards: Empire Award (highest point soloist and team), Broadway Bound (most entertaining), Best Costume, Best Music.
DEDUCTIONS
Unsuitable for Family Viewing: Routines that are deemed unsuitable for family viewing (costume, music, choreography, etc). This deduction will also remove the routine from eligibility for Empire and judges’ choice awards. Time: exceeding time limits or exiting the stage before completion of a routine (unless due to technical issues).
YOU CANNOT COMPETE AGAINST YOURSELF
To avoid dancers competing against themselves, dancers may not compete more than once in the same style and age level. This applies to solos, ensembles and teams.
TIME LIMITS AND GROUP SIZE
Performances will be timed and deductions will be given for overages. Studio owners/managers, see your pricing guide for details.
Solo: 2:30 (1 Dancer)
Duo/Trio: 2:30 (2-3 Dancers)
Small Group: 2:30 (4-9 Dancers)
Large Group: 2:30 (10-19 Dancers)
Line: 4:00 (20 + Dancers)
